The client wanted images of his new nail polish bottle – they had 28 different colours and also top coats and base coat versions – the only difference on most of them was the coloured top – I decided to photograph 1 bottle and make it look its best – then photograph all the other bottles but just clone the tops onto to the master shot – this technique worked well for the client as it kept the costs down and also gave a very uniform look to the bottle shots.
